The Superstitions
The Superstitions consists of a three piece band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The band was created and named, The Superstitions, in 2005. Band members include Victoria on guitar, Tyler for vocals and Aaron on drums. The Superstitions play various types of music, as they have many different influences, from a wide range of genres. They perform original songs, plus cover songs from bands such as The Ramones, System of A Down, The Misfits, The Rolling Stones and more!VICTORIA
Guitarist Victoria got to where she is on her own. When she was only five years old, she taught herself how to play the piano. Several years later, she taught herself how to play drums. When she was twelve years old, this left-handed guitarist taught herself how to play the guitar, upside down, on her grandfather’s right-handed acoustic guitar, which he left for her in his passing. She can always be seen shoeless on the left side of the stage, and with her unique presence and guitar playing, she adds that 'something' that sets the band apart.
TYLER
When it comes to vocals, Tyler always wanted to sing and originally started out as a bassist. Tyler became part of The Superstitions after Victoria came across an ad he placed on the internet. Whenever Tyler takes the stage, his presence captivates the crowd and his unique vocals and performance also gives The Superstitions that 'something' which sets them apart.
AARON
The Superstitions came across their drummer Aaron when Victoria first saw him playing drums at a high school talent show. She liked how he preformed, but never approached him because he was a friend’s older brother. Victoria and Tyler held many auditions for drummers, and soon came to realize that Aaron was the only one good enough to keep up with them. Although Aaron sits behind Tyler and Victoria, he definitely does not go unnoticed.
